Indicative pricing

A useful place to start your budget.

Clear starting scopes and planning ranges for your event. The final price comes in a written proposal shaped around the date, venue and programme.

These indicative New Zealand market-based budgets help you decide which direction to explore. Each “from” figure applies to the compact scope shown, with suitable local access in Wellington. A larger guest count, more hosting time, extra styling or another location changes the plan.

All figures are in New Zealand dollars. GST treatment and the total payable will be confirmed in the written proposal. The ranges are planning guides for the described entertainment or production work, not an all-inclusive event cost or a guaranteed quote.

Keep three things in view

The number of guests, the actual hosted duration and what the venue already provides. Those details usually make the biggest difference to the scope.

Programmes: up to 50 guests and up to 8 hours. Setup and removal access are agreed separately. Pricing reviewed 9 September 2026.

Know what changes
the total.

Starting with a smaller programme is often useful, but it is only one part of the budget. We explain the additions before you decide, with supplier commitments and payment terms available to review.

The place

Venue hire, room access, stairs or difficult loading, freight, travel and accommodation can change the delivery cost. For locations outside Wellington, we assess available staff, equipment and transport for the particular date.

The programme

More guests, a longer hosting window, multiple activities, additional croupiers, facilitators or technical operators affect the scope. A two-hour activity does not automatically extend to an eight-hour event at the same price.

The production

Food and alcohol, specialist acts, security, large stages or LED walls, custom installations, printing, permits and film rights are separate unless expressly included. An outdoor event also needs an agreed weather plan.

From a budget to a proposal

Make the choices visible.

Send your preferred date, city or venue, event type and likely guest count. If you have a spending limit, include it in the details field. We can then discuss the core experience and identify which additions are essential to the occasion.

Your proposal sets out the inclusions, quantities, duration, staff roles, supplier responsibilities, exclusions, price and GST treatment. It also explains the booking payment, balance timing and cancellation or change arrangements before you accept.

Some themes combine several cost families. An awards dinner with hosted tables, for instance, needs a coordinated celebration scope and the table programme; it is not automatically covered by either starting price alone. We avoid double-counting shared planning or equipment when preparing the specific proposal.

For charity, launch and conference formats, specialist requirements may need more supplier detail before the price can be settled. For an outdoor cinema, the film and venue conditions can affect the final arrangement. The written scope, rather than a website photograph, defines what is included.

Sending an enquiry is free and does not reserve a date. Availability and the actual booking terms are confirmed before commitment.

Good questions

A few practical questions

Have something else in mind? Ask us about your event.

Are these fixed package prices?

No. They are indicative starting budgets and planning ranges for defined compact scopes. Your written proposal confirms availability, the actual inclusions and the total payable for your event.

Is GST included?

GST treatment is confirmed in the written proposal alongside the total payable. The website figures are planning estimates; do not use them as a tax invoice or assume a particular GST status.

Can you work to a budget ceiling?

Tell us the amount you are planning around and which elements matter most. We can discuss scope choices, such as shorter hosting, a simpler décor treatment or use of suitable existing venue equipment.

Can I combine two themes?

Yes, where the venue and schedule support them. We prepare one coordinated scope that identifies shared work and any additional staff, equipment or supplier costs, rather than simply adding two unrelated package prices.

When is a booking confirmed?

After the written proposal and booking terms are accepted and any agreed booking payment is received. The enquiry itself is not a reservation. Read our Terms and Conditions for the booking framework.

What happens if my guest count changes?

Tell us as early as possible. We assess whether the layout, staffing or supplier commitments change, then confirm any revised price and deadline in writing. The overall service limit is 50 guests.
